Helpful Maine Ticket Resources:

  • The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a State Medicaid Directors Letter on January 28 2010 clarifying the ability of Medicaid service providers to accept Ticket to Work outcome payments for services delivered to Medicaid enrollees.  The letter is here, but the clarification is summed up in this statement from page 2:

    “Ticket Outcome and Milestone payments do not conflict with [Medicaid] regulatory requirements and do not constitute an overpayment of Federal dollars for services provided since EN payments are payment for an outcome, rather than for a Medicaid service rendered.”

SSA's Ticket to Work Program Manager for Recruitment and Outreach (PMRO) operates this site. It has a three-fold mission:

  • To recruit new Employment Networks (ENs);
  • To increase beneficiary awareness of the Ticket program and other SSA Work Incentives; and
  • To connect beneficiaries with ENs, and provide them with the opportunity to reach an employment goal or discover employment opportunities that may improve their overall quality of life.

MAXIMUS - YourTicketToWork.com - MAXIMUS, Inc., was awarded a contract to serve as the Program Manager (PM) to assist in the administration of the Ticket To Work Program. It will help with recruitment of Employment Networks; assisting in the facilitation of access for beneficiaries to ENs; ensuring adequate employment services are available; ensuring reasonable access to these services for beneficiaries; operating a toll-free telephone line to answer questions about the Ticket Program, and overall administration and oversight for ongoing Ticket Program operations.

National Employment Network Association - The National Employment Network Association (NENA) desires a broad membership of stakeholders in the Ticket to Work Program based in the Social Security Administration (SSA). We have devoted substantial time to projects to benefit private-sector employment networks (ENs) due to significant problems in this area of the Ticket Program. However, NENA desires to build collaborative relationships, on a local and national level, between ENs and all other stakeholders in the Ticket.
